These terms cover your use of the ShadeSet iOS app and this website. By using either, you agree to them.

What ShadeSet is

ShadeSet provides AI-assisted seasonal color analysis and styling guidance for personal, non-commercial use. Results are style guidance, not professional, medical, or diagnostic advice. Analyses include a confidence level and depend on photo quality; they are a strong read, not a verdict.

Purchases and subscriptions

• Full Analysis ($6.99): a one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently unlocks your full reference card.
• ShadeSet Pro ($7.99/month): an auto-renewing monthly subscription covering outfit generation, outfit images, the Wardrobe, the garment scanner, and saved looks. Live image generation is subject to fair-use limits.
• All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store, and are governed by Apple's payment terms. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings; if Pro lapses, your saved content stays visible but new Pro generation stops. Use Restore Purchases to recover purchases on a new device.

Your content

You keep all rights to photos you submit. You grant ShadeSet the limited license needed to process them for your analysis (including processing via OpenAI's API, as described in the Privacy Policy). Only submit photos of yourself, or of people who have given you their consent.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to misuse the service — including reverse engineering, scraping, overloading the API, submitting unlawful content, or using outputs to build a competing dataset.

Disclaimers

ShadeSet is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and limit our total liability to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or on this site.
